I presented to an orchestration class at the University of Oklahoma about composing for steel pans!

I had the privilege of directing both the 2 O’Clock and 8 O’Clock Steel Bands in the fall of 2025!

I worked with the Denton Ryan drumline and front ensemble for their 2025 marching season. They won first place in drums at the Golden Triangle Marching Contest! This was their first win in percussion since 2007.

I presented to a world music class at Texas A&M University–Central Texas about the history of steel pans.

My percussion collective, Spilled Milk, performed and presented about cutting edge percussion works at VR Eaton HS in May 2025.

I have presented to both steel bands at UNT about the history of the steel pan as well as Panorama. This picture is from May 2025.

I performed at the closing concert for the North Garland Percussion Festival with my percussion collective, Spilled Milk, in April 2025.

I presented to high school and middle school percussionists from Dallas ISD regarding a variety of percussion instruments, playing techniques, and steel band!

I directed the top steel band at UNT, the 2 O’Clock Steel Band, in the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025. This is a picture after one of our concerts in October of that year!

As a member of Arcomusical, I had the opportunity to present a lecture to a composition class as well as a concert involving Afro-Cuban batá drums and Afro-Brazilian berimbaus.

I presented to high school percussionists from Rockford, IL about accessory percussion instruments in the spring of 2024.

In 2023, I presented a lecture on the history of steel pans—as well as basic engine room rhythms—to my alma mater steel band, PANgea.

I had the pleasure of conducting the NIU Percussion Ensemble at this concert in the fall of 2023!

I was fortunate enough to perform in this ensemble from 2022-2024, and we presented at a number of venues including schools, libraries, and other communal spaces. This picture is from our presentation at UNT in November of 2023.

I recorded 78 snare etudes for use as educational material for percussionists in Naperville District 203 in Illinois.

I had the pleasure of working with CoD’s percussion ensemble on my arrangement as well as perform on their concert in the spring of 2023.

I was the marching percussion director for Northeast’s 2021 marching season in Lincoln, NE.

I taught the front ensemble and drum line at East in the summers of 2020 and 2022.
